How much does Guild Wars Reforged cost on mobile?
The Guild Wars: Prophecies campaign is free-to-play on mobile.
Free-to-play accounts are restricted from accessing PvP and using chat. Free-to-play players will also see ads when moving between different maps and missions.
Players are able to purchase game packages that remove these restrictions and ads, as well as unlock the Guild Wars: Factions and Nightfall campaigns.
If you login with an existing ArenaNet game account that owns Guild Wars Reforged, you will not experience these restrictions or ads and will have access to all three campaigns.
Optional content (skins, bank expansions, additional character slots, etc.) is also available for purchase on mobile.
Can I play with my existing account and characters on the mobile version?
Yes – if you have an ArenaNet account (accessed using an email and password), you can login and play with your existing characters.
However, if you use Steam to login to Guild Wars Reforged you will not be able to access your account on mobile.
What are the differences between Guild Wars Reforged on mobile and PC?
Aside from the restrictions on free-to-play accounts outlined earlier in this article, Guild Wars Reforged is the same game whether you play on PC or on mobile.
The mobile client features an interface layout and controls optimized for playing on smartphones and tablets. Mobile will also feature the same controller support that we introduced with the launch of Guild Wars Reforged.
The mobile version of Guild Wars Reforged connects to the exact same servers as the existing game client, meaning players on both versions of the game will be able to meet and interact in game, or group up to challenge content together!
When does the mobile version of Guild Wars Reforged launch?
Guild Wars Reforged is expected to first launch on mobile in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the Philippines in May.
In other regions, Guild Wars Reforged is expected to launch on mobile later this year. Please stay tuned for further announcements.
