Recovering Your Account

If you need assistance recovering your account, please visit this page to assist you with resetting your password on your own.

If you’re not able to use the self-help features, the support team can help you recover your account.

When emailing the Support Team at support@arena.net, you will need to make sure that you are able to verify your account.

  • The quickest way to get your account back is to contact us from the email on the account
  • If you no longer have access to the email address, we need AT LEAST TWO of the following to verify ownership:
    • Account Email: the email you created the account with
    • Serial Key(s): these need to be registered to the account
    • Creation Name AND Address (include ZIP Code)

Failure to provide two of the items from the above list means that we will be unable to verify ownership. You will be unable to recover your account.

Make sure you always store a copy of your game serial codes in a safe place in case you need them to recover your account in the future.

If your Guild Wars account is linked to an ArenaNet account, you can also provide details about your Guild Wars 2 account, such as:

  • Your First and Last Name
  • Your Billing Address
  • Any Guild Wars 2 Serial Code(s) used on the account
  • The Date of Birth listed on the account
  • The SMS Authentication Number used for the account

Once we receive your ticket, we’ll get back to you as soon as we’re able! If you manage to remember your character name before we get back to you, simply reply to your ticket and let us know that you no longer need help!
